Annie is showing improvement. The Zantac is helping with the GERD and the soy formula seems to help with the gas. She is sucking much better now and we are able to try breastfeeding again but will need to keep her on formula, as well. She's doing great except in the poop department. The poor kid strains until she throws up over and over and over. Sometimes she gets nothing and other times she gets man-sized . . . relief. We're waiting on her ped. for some help. First Steps has received her referral and we're waiting on their assessment. It just shouldn't be this hard to be a baby.
We're in the process of scheduling Annie's baptism. It will most likely be August 17th. We are so excited to see her godparents, Kurt and Annie, and their little ones, Keegan and Reese (or, Keeger and Reesey, as Emma says).

Emma is doing great. She's very much into her baby - whom she has named Lola after her favorite cartoon,
Charlie and Lola. Lola gets diaper changes (because she stinkies), gets fed, eats at the table in Emma's booster seat, sometimes gets time-outs, and wears a gown like Annie. Emma is really adorable with her. She's such an awesome big sister.
More to come later . . .
